On 9/11/2001, radical Islamic terrorists hijacked four jet planes with the intent of dealing a devastating blow to our nation. More than 3,000 people died and our nation was changed in a profound way. This Sunday marks the fifteenth anniversary of this horrendous tragedy. At that time, most Americans knew little about Islamic terrorism and nothing about the religion of Islam. They were told it was a "religion of peace." So what have we learned and how has it helped or changed us? Most Muslims do not follow the teachings and example of Muhammad and jihad however, millions do. This does not change the fact our mission is to meet people's spiritual need first and preach the good news of Jesus Christ. Joining us to discuss Islam, the Quran, and how Christians should respond to the very real threat of Muslim terrorism is a former Muslim, now born-again believer, Elijah Abraham. Elijah travels around the world teaching pastors about Islam and how to share the gospel with the Muslim people.
