Try defining truth apart from God and Scripture and see where that gets you. Sadly, not only is there plenty of confusion in the world, but also in the church regarding how God and truth are defined and understood. Enemies of truth can make up stuff about the Bible, write their books attempting to debunk Scripture, and create their own documentaries with lies and fabrications about history, but it won’t change the fact that God’s Word is eternal. What we believe about Jesus Christ, the Truth, affects everything we do in this life. How we view God, people, and how we understand the world – past, present, and future – depends on what we believe about absolute truth. The Word of God is perfect. From fulfilled prophecy, to eye-witness testimony to indisputable historical facts, to archeological evidence, the Bible is without error and inspired by God.
